The Gateway to Magic: Exercise 1

The practice of Self-Awareness is the fundamental process to self- mastery where magic truly begins.

Every single day, from the moment we wake- up, to how we brush our teeth, to what thought we choose to ponder on—that which consecutively feeds our emotion, to what clothes we wear, to our different response in every situation, in every interaction, that eventually take hold as our day unfolds.

Many of us, (including me) are responding in the space of familiarity, an automatic replay of what we have been used to, from what we heard, observed, witnessed, experienced, taught and so on… since the day we were born.

Are we truly responding based on the core truth of who we are? Or is this a response based on the conditioning on how the society prefer us to be? If you lean towards the latter, are you truly exercising your divine right of free will? Are you truly embodying the authentic you which is the core truth of your spirit?

The intention of this program is to put awareness in our daily task knowing that each thought, each action, and each reaction are presented with endless option.

We are not subjugated by the automatic responses based on our conditioning as we are faced with several options while we exercise our free will which starts from the core of our authentic self.

Key to this exercise: WE ARE BREAKING OUR ROUTINES by being self-aware in everything that we do:

1.    Taking a PAUSE before we answer to anything and to anyone.

a.     How do you usually answer to criticism? ______________________________________

When you respond differently by engaging with your higher self with love and compassion. How will this look like? ________________________________________________

b.    How do you usually react to impatience? _________________________________________________________________________________________.

How do you respond differently by engaging with your higher-self with composure and understanding? How will this look like? _________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

c.     How do you usually respond to anger? _________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

How do you respond differently by engaging with your authentic self, which is from the core of your spirit?____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

2.    If you usually brush your hair or teeth with your right hand, try to brush it with your left. In every little thing that you do, try doing it differently with heightened awareness as you engage with your authentic self. This is a fundamental training of being AWARE as we divert ourselves from automatic actions.

3.    Be AWARE of everything that goes into you mind knowing that you are just a witness, an observer to your every thought. Dissect them, study them, know where they are coming instead of responding to it automatically, get to know each one.
